It has web interface with the similar appearance and functionality on the local and distant computers. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the program using net that surveillance workstation can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached.

Software\\\\\'s modular configuration considerably boosts reliability because all modules operate as autonomous software. If one component freezes, other modules continue running. For instance if the "capture" part stops working, "watchdog" restarts it instantly that users don\\\\\'t notice anything because they are watching video using a "playback" part.

The program does "cyclic" recording that the "disk full" situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by calendar.

The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on apart workstation via Web interface.

The program makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
